The Old Exeter Inn is 5 mins walk from Ashburton’s Luxury Lets. It is like going back in time. It is the oldest pub in Ashburton – 600 years old and known for the place where Sir Walter Raleigh was arrested before being taken to the tower in 1603.
Recently beautifully refurbished /restored with the dark oak panel rooms and nookies. It sells craft beer, a variety of ales, IPAs, Stouts, Lager, Ciders various Vegan and Gluten-free beers too. The food is wholesome English pub food from organic soup to casseroles and pies. A good place to come in the winter where you can warm up by the fire or in the summer where you can sit in their outdoor yard /Oktoberfest style seating.
