Introduction
Ashburton’s Luxury Lets was established in 2022 by Adrian and Jenna who ran Adrian Ager Ltd an antiques business for 40 years from The Meeting House, The School House and the Great Hall.
The Meeting House
The Meeting House is a 16th century historic property with original oak beams and fireplaces. The house was occupied as a private home for 30 years by Adrian and his family during which time it was furnished to a very high standard with an array of antiques and paintings. The property has 3 floors. A plan of each floor is available on the details of the Meeting House. The House is not suitable for wheelchair users. There are thresholds and steps on the ground floor. The house is suitable for some guests who require a walking aid. There are 3 steps to a half landing and a further 8 steps to the first floor. The first floor has a gentle sloping floor due to its age in the corridor.
The School House
The School House is part of an old Victorian 200 year old historic School Building. In June 2023 the property was converted from Adrian Ager’s antique showrooms into luxury self-catering accommodation comprising the School House on ground floor and mezzanine and the Upper School House on the first floor. There are separate entrances to both properties.
